| a. Refine and expand management objectives for achieving operational efficiencees, cost reductions and enhanced quality of care.
b. Formation of a Public Benefit Corporation will improve the hospital's ability to compete in the local Health care industry by providing new avenues of revenue and the ability to collaborate with other private hospitals in joint ventures.

a. Expand preventive health services offered to the community through the integration of public health services at all department clinics, linkage to available health insurance and referral to primary care.
b. Assist uninsured and underinsured families in receiving primary care services through the provision of quality health services in a patient responsive and cost effiicient manner with linkages to insurances including facilitiated enrollment for Child Health Plus and Family Health Plus.
c. Integrate a recently awarded HUD Graant for lead hazard control and training with the health department's existing Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.
d. Improve the efficiency the effectiveness of environmental inspection of permitted facilities, e.g. restaurants, through final f=phase field-testing of a program utilizing notebook computers in all field offices.
e. Expand employee wellness services to the families and significant others of county employees.
f. To design, develop and implement two major, multifaceted media campaigns with teh purpose of raising public awareness around important health and wellness issues.
